Do You Like It Bad? by dangerousladies Do You Like It Bad? by dangerousladies
This costume was the most complicated nightmare I've ever made. Before that, it was definitely Mai.

... Diane, what's up with that?

Thank you!

The second game is really fun, though the storytelling is a little different.

Hey, I'm cosplaying her soon and I think yours is the best I've seen so far so I'm wondering where you got your wig? I've been looking but I haven't found anything as good as yours!

It's a Cyperous wig!

Please note that we did her hair wrong, though. Bad Girl has fluffier bangs and the top half of her hair is supposed to be pulled into a shorter, spunkier ponytail.

Okay, thanks :) I know, I've been trying to do that but it's been difficult to find.

One of those claw-clips with attached blonde hair might work, if you draw back some side pieces with it.

Whoa, I'm liking this. Don't think I've ever seen any NMH cosplays besides Travis. Very well done!

This costume turned out fabulous. One thing that makes it look so well done and accurate is the fabric. What kind of fabric did you use for the dress and box pleats? Everything turned out so crisp.

Also, was the dress made from an altered pattern, or an unaltered one, or not from one at all? The skirt part looks very rigid, what did you use to create that effect?

Good work on the exquisite cosplay and sorry for the 20 questions! (._.';)

If I remember correctly, the dress is a cotton suiting. The pleats are cotton sateen, which irons beautifully.

I used an old 1970s dress pattern for the bust, but it was so heavily altered in the waistline, neck and sides that I might as well have just drawn it out myself. I did the sleeves and skirt myself from scratch.

The skirt is one piece of fabric fused to one piece of flexifirm. Flexifirm is a heavy felt, so it stands out much like a lampshade. It's cool stuff.

Thank you, and no problem! :)

I do answer questions I'm asked, and if I have time or someone's written be a more detailed comment I'll write out a more elaborate answer, but on a regular basis, I don't much else to say but "thank you"! I appreciate any and all compliments we're given, and I'm grateful for them.

I figure it's better than nothing at all, right?

I don't think someone would be offended by "thank you" :)

It's more offended that I gave a canned reply instead of something more thought out.

I'm calling that a pink nightmare. I don't hate it, I'm just calling it that.

Bad Girl is the epitome of "pink nightmare", both because of her character, and because of how difficult it is to make!
