That jacket cost him $800. It is real leather. I sincerely hope he wears it around casually, but I didn't ask.

$800 is to be expected for custom leatherwork...If you want something food that is  I once had a custom jacket I designed made a few years ago (wasn't a very original design like a couple I made later on, it looked like a standard motorcycle jacket with a few more details) and that cost me little over $200...But once the initial excitement of getting it had passed I started noticing some flaws and corners cut on parts of it. It's real leather but quite a thin and flimsy leather compared to some of the more sturdy, store-bought ones I had and that's when I learned to be skeptical of the quality of any custom leather clothing item that cheap :paranoid:

Having said that, I've had little luck finding someone to make me a new and better jacket for some more recent designs I made last year which I ain't gonna waste on that first tailoring company =p But $800 compared to the quotes I got from certain places is actually a bargain! :stare: I'd love to know what site or person this guy went to for his if you know :eager:

Oh, and his clothing matches his hair and eye colour too! That's pretty cool :D

If that's the jacket I'm thinking of, it was actually made by the same person who made the jacket from the show itself. There was quite a bit of discussion about it on the Replica Prop Forum when the pics of it surfaced.
